Why do PVC films need additives?
The additives of PVC film are mainly stabilizers, and impact modifiers are suitable for various applications. These additives improve physical properties such as temperature, light and weather resistance, toughness and elasticity, impact strength, gloss, and will improve processability.
The additive has a high impact at the lowest possible concentration, and does not affect the required service life for the plastic molding manufacturing process and the product obtained. As an impact modifier, acrylate or chlorinated polyethylene is usually used. PVC processing is improved by modifiers, so faster plasticized PVC is achieved.
