Due to their low vapor pressure, their volatilization loss is very small, or almost no volatilization loss. Although there is no report about the photolysis of phthalate esters, it can be inferred from the phenomenon that they have no spectral absorption in the range of ultraviolet light and visible light that they are difficult to carry out photochemical reactions.
