The difference between PET protective film and PE protective film

Before understanding the difference between PET protective film and PE protective film, we should first understand their respective definitions, characteristics and uses. PET protective film is also known as film high temperature resistant polyester film. It has excellent physical properties, chemical properties, dimensional stability, transparency and recyclability, it can be widely used in magnetic recording, photosensitive materials, electronics, electrical insulation, industrial films, packaging and decoration and other fields. Can be produced into mobile phone LCD protective film, LCD TV protective film, mobile phone keys, etc. PE protective film is made of special polyethylene (PE) Plastic film for the substrate, according to the density of different divided into high density polyethylene protective film, medium density polyethylene and low density polyethylene. PE protective film is the most simple polymer organic compound and the most widely used polymer material in the world today. Its biggest advantage is that the protected products are not polluted, corroded or scratched in the process of production, processing, transportation, storage and use, and the original bright and clean surface is protected, so as to improve the quality of products and market competitiveness. PET protective film has excellent mechanical properties, its strength and toughness are the best among all thermoplastics, and its tensile strength and impact strength are much higher than those of ordinary films; PE protective film is a kind of packaging film with comprehensive performance. Its transparency is good, shiny; It has good air tightness and fragrance retention; Moisture resistance is medium, and moisture permeability decreases at low temperature. From the above understanding of some basic knowledge of PE protective film and PET protective film, we can clearly know their differences. In addition, PE is softer and PET is harder; When holding up and shaking, PE has no noise and PET has noise; PE tensile strength is not as good as PET; PE protective film temperature resistance is generally 60 degrees, while PET protective film can be 120 degrees and above. Therefore, different material protective films should be selected for different products.
