Thermal function PVC has very poor heat stability, starting to differentiate at 140°C, and melting temperature is 160°C. The coefficient of linear expansion of PVC is small, it is flame retardant, and the oxidation index is as high as 45 or more. Therefore, heat stabilizers need to be added during the processing to ensure the function of the product.

Electrical function PVC is a polymer with better electrical functions, but due to its large polarity, the electrical insulation is not as good as PP and PE. The dielectric constant, dielectric loss tangent and volume resistivity are large, and the corona resistance is not good, and it is usually suitable for medium and low voltage and low frequency insulating materials.

Environmental function PVC is resistant to most inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, and most organic solvents. Suitable for medicine and chemical antiseptic materials.
