There are many kinds of shrink films on the market, how do you choose the heat shrink film to use?

Generally speaking, the common shrink films on the market are divided into several types: PE shrink film, PVC shrink film, POF shrink film, they are made of different materials and have different properties. Their use varies with different materials, and different shrink films are used in different places.

PE heat shrinkable film has good flexibility, impact resistance and shrinkage. The shrinkage rate of PE: 15%-30% horizontally, 50%-70% vertical. Shrinkage temperature: 120%-180℃, thickness 0.02-0.12mm. It is suitable for heat shrink packaging of alcohol, canned food, mineral water and other beverages, and heat shrink packaging of some large equipment.

PVC heat shrinkable film has the characteristics of high transparency, good shrinkage rate and low price. It is deeply loved by the majority of industrial products packaging. It is mostly used for packaging doors and windows/aluminum materials/building materials/gypsum lines.

POF heat shrinkable film has the characteristics of high transparency, good shrinkage and high strength, and has a good protective effect on packaging products. However, the thickness of POF is limited, the thickness range is 0.012-0.03mm, so it is not suitable for packaging heavier products, more suitable for packaging food, cosmetics, gift stationery, toys and other daily necessities. In addition, there are also requirements for the temperature of the shrinking machine. The shrinkage temperature of 1.5 wire is generally between 140-150 degrees, and the shrinkage temperature of 2 wire is above 170 degrees, the shrinking effect is better.
