Dow Chemical recently developed ENLIGHT polyolefin packaging film for solar panels. The product has better electrical insulation characteristics and waterproof performance, which can effectively prolong the service life of components.
tests show that solar panels made of ENLIGHT material can withstand humid and hot environment for more than 10 thousand hours, far higher than competitive products (2000 hours). Polyolefin packaging film can reduce the plastic packaging time of solar panel manufacturers by more than 30% and greatly improve the production capacity. Moreover, because this kind of film does not produce corrosive acetic acid, it can effectively reduce the equipment loss in the production process.
