APET protective film compared with PET protective film

Recently, some customers who buy PET protective film or film will ask, what is APET? What does it do? What is the difference between PET and PET? The chemical name of APET is non-crystallized polyethylene terephthalate, which is a kind of blister material, also known as polyester hard tape. It is a thermoplastic and environmentally friendly plastic product, and its side materials and waste products can be recycled, the chemical elements it contains, like paper, are carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, belonging to degradable plastics. A customer who is engaged in screen film has learned from our company that they have introduced a new machine that requires PET film to be used, but they have tried a company's, found that the temperature resistance did not meet the requirements, so I turned to our company and learned about APET, A- PET environmental protection film is widely used in the packaging of cosmetics, food, electronics, toys, printing and other industries, such as various high-grade blister packaging, folding boxes, plastic cylinders, window films, etc. It is a typical Heat Shrinkable polyester film. Heat Shrinkable plastic film generally has some characteristics, stable at normal temperature, when heated (Above glass transition temperature) Shrinkage, and is more than 50% of heat shrinkage in one direction is ideal. The characteristics of Heat Shrinkable plastic film packaging are: transparent body, reflecting the image of the goods; Tight packaging, good anti-dispersion; Rain-proof, moisture-proof, mildew-proof; No recovery, there is a certain anti-counterfeiting function. Heat Shrinkable plastic films are commonly used in the packaging of convenience foods, beverages, electronic appliances, metal products, etc. , especially shrink labels. However, PET is not a Heat Shrinkable plastic film. Manufacturers using PET film all need it to have good high temperature resistance, which is the biggest difference between the two. Protective films and films made of PET are widely used to stick screens, displays, LCD, etc.
