PVC Film ( PVC Sheet )

PVC film, also known as polyvinyl chloride film. It is manufactured from polyvinyl chloride resin blended with plasticizers, stabilizers, pigments and specialty additives. Calendering or extrusion produces rolls 0.05–3 mm thick and up to 3 m wide that can be crystal clear, translucent, opaque or vividly colored. The material’s inherent chlorine content yields excellent flame retardancy, chemical resistance and barrier properties against moisture, oils and many solvents, while plasticizers allow tailoring of softness, elongation and low-temperature flexibility. Surface finishes range from high gloss to matte, and textures from smooth to embossed leather, canvas or geometric patterns.  

 

The applications of PVC film sheet span graphics, packaging, automotive interiors, stationery, advertising banners, shower curtains, inflatables and protective clothing. Printable grades accept UV, solvent and eco-solvent inks; antimicrobial, UV-blocking and cold-crack formulations extend outdoor lifespan.
